Opened in 1939 as Marlboro Country Club, a nine-hole course by Scottish-born Arthur Hamm, an associate of Donald Ross. Nine more holes were added in 1998 for a par-70 course on 130 acres. In 2023 Marlboro County bought it and renamed it Marlboro County Golf Course.
