Money Hill Golf & Country Club

Money Hill Golf & Country Club sits in Abita Springs, Louisiana, on St. Tammany Parish's Northshore near New Orleans, and opened in 1998 with a Ron Garl design as the centerpiece of a wooded residential community. The land is part of a vast property once devoted to timber, pulp, paper, and tung-oil production, originally developed by the Goodyear family. Unusually hilly for southern Louisiana, the layout features constant elevation changes across its rolling terrain. Memorable holes include a water-carry par-3 4th, the demanding par-4 10th, and the signature 16th, a short par-3 to a narrow peninsula green tucked into the lakeside. The closing stretch wraps around spring-fed Goodyear Lake, named for the family behind the original plantation.
