About Nehoiden Golf Club

Nehoiden Golf Club is a private nine-hole course owned and operated by Wellesley College, and one of the oldest college golf courses in the country. Golf was introduced at Wellesley in 1893 by Lucile Eaton Hill, and the original course was laid out in 1894 by Wellesley resident Arthur Hunnewell and Dr. Walter Channing of The Country Club. Renamed from the Wellesley Golf Club to Nehoiden in 1927, it is walking-only, no motorized carts.
