About Norfolk Golf Club
Norfolk Golf Club is a historic private nine-hole course (par 70, about 5,936 yards) in the Islington section of Westwood, Massachusetts, regarded as one of the top nine-hole courses in North America. It began around 1893 on pasture land owned by the Weatherbee heirs and was formally organized in 1896, becoming a charter member of the Massachusetts Golf Association in 1902. It incorporated and acquired the Weatherbee Farm in 1913 and built a clubhouse in 1922; no professional architect is documented for the original layout.
