About Northern Spy Golf Club

Northern Spy Golf Club is an 18-hole course in Townsend, Massachusetts, formerly known as Townsend Ridge Country Club and named for the Northern Spy apple variety. Per its official website it opened in 1996 and was designed by Ted Manning and Mary Mills. Set on about 140 acres of rolling countryside, it plays roughly 6,200 yards to a par of 70 and serves as the home course for Franklin Pierce University golf.
