About Olmos Basin Golf Course

Olmos Basin opened in 1963 as a San Antonio municipal course just north of downtown off Highway 281, and is part of the Alamo City Golf Trail. The original design was by George Hoffman, and a comprehensive redesign by Jeffrey D. Blume, ASGCA, was completed in November 2021. The course has hosted numerous Men's and Women's City Amateur Championships and is described as the Trail's most-played course, with tree-lined fairways and a creek winding through many holes.
