Prairie Landing Golf Club opened in 1995 as a prairie-links layout designed by Robert Trent Jones Jr., set on land owned by the neighboring DuPage Airport in West Chicago. True to its name, the par-72 course rolls across open, windswept ground with native fescues, tall prairie grasses, water hazards, and pot bunkers that reward strategic, ground-game golf reminiscent of British links. With few trees to block the breeze, wind becomes a constant fourth dimension, and the layout offers multiple tee sets to suit every level. A well-regarded practice facility and learning center round out the property.
