Pueblo del Sol opened in the mid-1970s in Sierra Vista, near Fort Huachuca. After its longtime operator pulled out of Sierra Vista, the City took over the course on September 6, 2024. It now operates as the Sierra Vista Golf Center at Pueblo del Sol.
