Royal Crest Country Club in Walpole is a private nine-hole course (roughly 2,000 yards, par 29) that opened in 1927 as the original Walpole Country Club nine. Since 1975 it has been the centerpiece of an owner-occupied condominium community of 168 units arranged around the tree-lined fairways; play is limited to residents and their guests. The original course architect is not documented.
