A golf course was planned for this Mount Wolf site and started and paused several times; some greens and a routing were already in place when architect Tim Freeland took over and finished the design. It is his only course in Pennsylvania. The public, par-72 links-style course opened around 2010 in the hills of northern York County above the Susquehanna River.
