Sand Hollow Resort

Sand Hollow Resort's Championship Course opened in 2008 in Hurricane, Utah, designed by John Fought with Andy Staples. Set above Sand Hollow Reservoir, it is best known for a run of holes perched on the rim of a red-rock canyon, where tee shots play against sheer sandstone drops and long desert views. The par-72 layout stretches past 7,300 yards and pairs wide, forgiving fairways with striking native red-sand bunkering. Since opening it has been ranked Utah's top resort course by Golf Digest and has appeared repeatedly among Golfweek's best resort courses in the country. The contrast of green turf, red rock and open sky, plus the sheer drama of the canyon-edge holes, has made it one of the most photographed and sought-after public courses in the Southwest.
