About Shary Municipal Golf Course
Shary Municipal Golf Course is a historic 27-hole municipal facility owned by the City of Mission, Texas, with a full-service driving range, and is cited as the city's top winter-tourist attraction. It is commonly said to date to 1929 and is named for John H. Shary (1872-1945), the developer known as the "father of the Texas citrus industry." (The official city page does not state a designer, so the architect is left unconfirmed.)
