Shining Rock Golf Club opened as an 18-hole public course in Northbridge in 2010, with its clubhouse following in 2012 and a driving range plus nine-hole par-3 short course added later. The layout is known for dramatic elevation changes carved from rocky New England terrain. The club has since changed ownership and is now part of the Alliance Golf portfolio.
