About Shoal Creek Golf Course

A Kansas City, Missouri municipal course that opened in the fall of 2001, owned by Kansas City Parks and Recreation and operated by KemperSports. It was the first solo design by architect Steve Wolfard, who had previously worked for the Jack Nicklaus design firm. The course plays about 6,983 yards to a par of 71, with zoysia tees and fairways and bentgrass greens, and became one of the more highly regarded daily-fee facilities in the Kansas City area.
