About Sun City - Okatie Creek Golf Club
Okatie Creek opened in 1995 as the first of two golf courses built for Sun City Hilton Head, the Del Webb active-adult community near Bluffton. Designed by former PGA Tour player Mark McCumber, it winds through Lowcountry pines and marshes with 15 lakes and plays 6,724 yards from the back tees. After a roughly $4 million turf and drainage renovation, it reopened on October 1, 2025.
