Est. 2005 · Tim Davis (with shaper Blane Harrison)
Why we love this place
Dustin Johnson holds the course record here, and that tells you plenty: Ivy Ridge has the length and the rolling terrain to test anyone. We love finding a 7,000-yard U.S. Amateur qualifying venue that stays public, friendly and squarely in Western New York's backyard.

About The Links At Ivy Ridge
The Links at Ivy Ridge opened on July 1, 2005, after roughly seven years of development on rolling land along Main Road in Akron, east of Buffalo. Developer Don Nicholas paired local golf figure Tim Davis with Canadian shaper Blane Harrison to design and build the course, a par-72 layout that stretches to about 7,000 yards across hills unusual for Western New York. The course quickly made a name for itself by hosting U.S. Amateur qualifying in 2006 and 2008. During the 2006 qualifier a young Dustin Johnson, later a major champion on the PGA Tour, set the course record the club still celebrates. Buffalo Spree readers also voted it the region's best public course in 2006 and 2008.
