The Madison Club opened in 1997 in Westmoreland County, about 45 minutes southeast of downtown Pittsburgh, and Foretee credits the design to Sheffler & Co. The par-72 course plays up to about 6,850 yards across hills and mature woods and around seven lakes, with 65 bunkers. The 17th is a 153-yard par 3 that requires a carry over water.
