About Vivian Johnson Memorial Golf Course

The course opened in 1940 as the Dillon municipal course (locally known as Twin Lakes). On December 31, 2021, owner Twin Lakes Enterprises donated it to the City of Dillon in memory of Vivian Johnson, and it was renamed the Vivian L. Johnson Memorial Golf Course. The greens and facilities were extensively renovated in 2023. It is now city-owned. The original architect could not be verified.
