Wayland Country Club first opened for play in 1920 as a 9-hole course, about 15 miles west of Boston. In the early-to-mid 1950s (around 1954) a second nine was added, making it an 18-hole course. It is a public course currently playing to roughly 6,000 yards at par 70; no designer could be verified.
