Est. 1928 · Len Raynor
Why we love this place
Golf atop the Catskills with ski-mountain views and nearly a century of history. We love Windham for its 1928 bones, its comeback after Hurricane Irene and the way a resort town's summer slows to a perfect afternoon pace on these mountain fairways.

About Windham Country Club
Windham Country Club sits on South Street in the village of Windham, high in the northern Catskills of Greene County. Its eighteen holes were laid out in 1928, with Len Raynor credited as the architect, and the course has long been a summer fixture for the mountain resort town. After Hurricane Irene damaged the course in 2011, the club's board found the restoration difficult, and in 2013 the shareholders voted by majority to sell to Windham Mountain Partners, the ownership group behind the nearby Windham Mountain ski area. The new owners kept the Windham Country Club name, folded the course into the resort's off-season business and set out to restore and improve the course and clubhouse, which have since been completely renovated.
