About Seven Lakes Country Club

Seven Lakes Country Club, now operating as 7 Lakes Golf Club, was designed by Peter Tufts III -- godson of Donald Ross and great-grandson of Pinehurst founder James Walker Tufts -- and built in 1976 in the Seven Lakes community about nine miles west of Pinehurst. The par-72 layout plays roughly 6,900 yards with Bermuda fairways, bentgrass greens, mature pines and covered bridges. It operates as a semi-private course open to public play.
