Bluejack National Golf Club

Set on roughly 755 acres of rolling pine-and-hardwood country in Montgomery, north of Houston, Bluejack National holds a permanent place in American golf history as the first Tiger Woods design to open in the United States. Woods and his TGR Design team routed a championship eighteen that abandons rough entirely in favor of wide, firm-and-fast fairways, closely mown surrounds, and boldly contoured greens meant to reward creativity and ground-game shot-making. He also built The Playgrounds, a ten-hole par-three short course he personally inaugurated in March 2016, with the main course debuting that April. The layout drew immediate acclaim, earning Golf Digest's Best New Private Course honors and topping Golfweek's Texas residential-course rankings. It remains a landmark statement of Woods's design philosophy: playable for everyone, strategic for the best.
