About Bonneville Golf Course

Bonneville is one of Salt Lake City's oldest golf courses, opened in 1929 on the city's East Bench near the University of Utah to a design by William P. "Billy" Bell. The 18-hole public layout follows the foothill contours, with several holes crossing a deep ravine and views across the Salt Lake Valley. In 2006 the city swapped the front and back nines to restore the routing as it was played in the 1930s.
