About Cape Royal Golf Club - King/Queen

Cape Royal opened in 1991 as Royal Tee Country Club in Cape Coral, designed by Gordon Lewis, with 27 holes in three nines (The Prince, The Queen and The King) across lakes and wetlands. It closed in August 2016 under prior ownership, and in January 2017 the Cape Royal Homeowners Association bought the 225-acre property after 91% of homeowners approved. It reopened as Cape Royal Golf Club, managed by Green Golf Partners.
