About Clewiston Golf Course

Clewiston Golf Course is a municipal course that originated with nationally known planner John Nolen's master plan for the City of Clewiston. In 1928 the city commissioned the firm of Stiles & Van Kleek to design a regulation course, and the nine-hole layout officially opened on February 23, 1930. It remained nine holes until the City added a second nine in the 1960s, and it is on the Florida Historic Golf Trail.
