Pasadena Yacht & Country Club opened for play in 1924, with legendary pro Walter Hagen serving as its first head golf professional (1924-1925). The 18-hole course was laid out by the firm of Wayne Stiles and John Van Kleek and over the decades hosted figures such as Babe Ruth, Babe Didrikson Zaharias and Arnold Palmer. The club combines golf with a marina near St. Petersburg and was extensively renovated in 2017.
