About LekaricA Hills

The course sits in the Village of Highland Park near Lake Wales. A poorly drained nine-hole course from the early 1920s was replaced in 1927, when Boston architects Wayne Stiles and John Van Kleek built an 18-hole layout called the Highland Park Club, reusing five old holes and routing the rest through an orange grove. A WWII labor shortage cut it to 12 holes; it was restored to 18 in the 1990s. It is part of the Florida Historic Golf Trail.
