Cascata Golf Course

Cascata, Italian for waterfall, sits in the foothills of the River Mountains near Boulder City, southeast of Las Vegas. Designed by Rees Jones with associate Keith Evans, it opened in 2000 as an ultra-exclusive amenity for casino VIPs, and after early ownership changes came under Caesars, which ran it for high-end guests. Its defining feature is a 418-foot man-made waterfall that spills down the mountainside over massive boulders and feeds a stream that actually runs through the clubhouse. The course threads through desert canyons and hillsides with generous fairways and dramatic backdrops, and its lavish presentation drew early acclaim. Following Caesars' 2017 restructuring, the club passed to Vici Properties. Cascata has traded on exclusivity and spectacle rather than a competitive tournament record throughout its history.
