About Quintero Golf Club
Quintero Golf Club opened in 2000 on rugged terrain northwest of Phoenix, near Peoria, Arizona. Rees Jones routed the course through desert valleys framed by the Hieroglyphic Mountains, favoring dramatic elevation change and long-range views over housing, with no homes lining the fairways. Conceived as a private club, Quintero opened to public play in 2011 and has long appeared on Golfweek's list of the country's top modern courses. The par-72 layout stretches to roughly 7,200 yards from the tips, with generous landing areas giving way to well-defended greens. In 2025 Rees Jones's firm returned for a master-plan restoration, rebuilding fairway and greenside bunkers and restoring the original green surfaces, reaffirming the course's standing as one of Arizona's most scenic and demanding desert tests.
