There's something special about a course this bold that still lets anyone tee it up. We love the drama at Lake of Isles: the elevation swings, the big cavernous bunkers, and that gorgeous lake weaving through the woods. It rewards a well-struck shot and never stops feeling like an event.

About Lake Of Isles Golf Club
Lake of Isles opened in 2005 as the golf centerpiece of a roughly $70-million complex conceived and financed by the Mashantucket Pequot Tribal Nation, directly across from Foxwoods Resort Casino in southeastern Connecticut. The public North course was designed by Rees Jones, who reportedly studied the former Boy Scout reservation for years before shaping the layout. Wrapping around a 90-acre lake on heavily wooded, dramatically rolling terrain, the North course plays to roughly 7,200 yards and puts a premium on precise ball-striking, with large, deep bunkers and abundant water. A companion private South course rounds out the 36-hole property, complemented by an expansive clubhouse and a full indoor-outdoor practice facility. The North course has been widely recognized among the top public and resort courses in New England.
