Est. 1998 · Larry Nelson
Why we love this place
Centennial is Larry Nelson's showpiece, 27 holes over rolling Putnam County hills with ponds and rock outcroppings at every turn. Polished conditions and varied combinations make it a favorite escape from the city for a big-time round.

About Centennial Golf Club
Centennial Golf Club opened in 1998 in Carmel, in Putnam County, near the point where Westchester, Putnam and Fairfield counties meet. The 27-hole course was designed by Larry Nelson, the World Golf Hall of Fame member who won the U.S. Open and two PGA Championships, and it spreads across a 340-acre property of rolling hills, ponds and rock outcroppings that Nelson called the land "most naturally suited to golf" he had ever seen. The three nines, Meadows, Lakes and Fairways, are paired into 18-hole combinations, so golfers can play the property in several configurations. Within easy reach of Westchester and southern Connecticut, Centennial hosts daily-fee play, outings and group events, and its 27 holes and clubhouse are managed by Troon, the world's largest golf management company.
