About Colebrook Country Club

Colebrook Country Club sits near the top of New Hampshire in the town of Colebrook, where a nine-hole golf course was built on the property in 1927. Its first clubhouse was an old barn dating to the 1800s. In the 1940s the property was briefly known as the Ethan Allen Country Club, and in 1956 it expanded with a motel and a bar patio, an unusual golf-and-lodging pairing that still defines it. The bar was later enclosed and the facilities grew over the decades. The course covers about 54 acres and includes a rare par-6 hole. In 2021 Shannon and Brooks Anderson became the property's stewards and led a full renovation of the 18-room, ground-level motel, whose rooms overlook the course and the surrounding mountains. The lodging is open year-round with direct access to ATV and snowmobile trails, while the golf course remains open to the public each season with daily fees and memberships.
