Country Club of the North

Country Club of the North opened in 1993 as a Jack Nicklaus Signature design, one of several Nicklaus layouts in southwest Ohio. The private club sits on the edge of Beavercreek, near Xenia and the Little Miami River, with the course routed through an upscale residential community. Nicklaus threaded the par-72 layout around streams and small lakes, and it stretches to roughly 7,071 yards from the championship tees with a slope near 136. Bentgrass fairways and greens give the course a manicured, resort-like feel, while several water-guarded par 3s, including short and exacting one-shotters, provide the layout's signature tests. Long regarded among the stronger courses in the Dayton region, Country Club of the North pairs its championship pedigree with the amenities of a full-service country club. Its Nicklaus lineage remains the property's calling card.
