Cowan Creek Golf Club is the newest of the three courses at Del Webb's Sun City Texas active-adult community in Georgetown, opened in 2008 and credited by GolfPass to Gary Stephenson. It has a resort-style feel with wide, forgiving fairways and large greens -- the front nine routed through the community and the back nine running across the Hill Country. Like the other Sun City courses it is open to the public.
