Crescent Oaks Country Club in Tarpon Springs opened around 1991 with an 18-hole championship course designed by Steve Smyers, with input from PGA/Champions Tour player Jim Colbert. The well-bunkered layout is carved from woodlands and gently rolling, lake-dotted terrain (about 6,865 yards, par 72) and operates today as a semi-private club within a residential community.
