About Deep Cliff Golf Course

Deep Cliff sits on the Stevens Creek flood plain in the Cupertino foothills, on land annexed to Cupertino and rezoned in 1961. Developer Clark Glasson leased 55 acres from the Bracher family, designed and built the course, and opened the first nine holes on Thanksgiving Day 1961, with the back nine following in spring 1962. Glasson's family ran it until 1992. It is a privately operated public executive course.
