Why we love this place

Derryfield is a true city muni, a full 18 in the middle of Manchester that has been open to everyone since 1932. We love that the city keeps investing in it, from rebuilt greens to indoor simulators, so the Queen City always has a place to play.

About Derryfield Country Club

Derryfield Country Club opened in 1932 as the City of Manchester's municipal golf course, and it remains one of only three municipally owned courses in New Hampshire. The 18-hole regulation layout covers 115.5 acres on Mammoth Road in the heart of the Queen City, giving the state's largest city a full-size public course within its own neighborhoods. Its original designer is not firmly documented, and directory sources disagree. In 2015 the city completed a major renovation aimed at long-term playability: more than 15 miles of drainage pipe on holes 2, 3, 5, 6 and 13 through 17, new irrigation on most holes, new greens on the second and third holes, restored greens on 14 through 17, new and expanded tees, new fairway and greenside bunkers, and a new cart path system. Today Derryfield pairs the course with a golf shop, three indoor simulators, lessons, leagues and tournaments, and the Derryfield Restaurant & Lounge.
