About Silver Fox Course at Trump National Doral
Opened in 1984 as the Silver Course at the neighboring Doral Park Country Club (von Hagge and Devlin). Doral bought it in 1995; Jerry Pate redesigned it in 1998-99, and it hosted PGA Tour Qualifying School finals in 1999. Jim McLean reworked it as his Signature Course around 2009, and it was renamed Silver Fox in 2012 after the Trump purchase, with a Hanse/Wagner renovation reopening in 2014. It is a resort course.
