About Emerald Lake Gc

Emerald Lake Golf Club opened in 1996 in Matthews (Union County), designed by Gary Wirth. The 18-hole course plays to a par of 71 at roughly 6,820 yards on Bermuda turf, and operates as a semi-private club with memberships and season passes. Its original clubhouse burned on the Fourth of July in 2012, and a replacement was completed in 2016.
