Exeter Country Club is a Geoffrey Cornish parkland design that was built in 1964 and has long been regarded as one of Rhode Island's better public championship courses, playing to roughly 6,900 yards from the tips. It is today run by the Hendrick family, who also own Meadow Brook and Richmond Country Club in southern Rhode Island.
