Why we love this place

Fairview Farm lives up to its motto of a public course with a private atmosphere. Rolling former farmland, polished conditions, and a staff devoted to junior golf earned it a state PGA award. Come for a scenic Litchfield Hills round and stay for dinner on the hill.

About Fairview Farm Golf Course

Fairview Farm Golf Course was built on the former Delay Farm in Harwinton, in the hills of Litchfield County. Robert Ferrarotti developed the course largely on his own, starting construction in October 1998 on a plan credited to him and Dick Christian. The front nine opened in April 2000 and the back nine followed that October, completing a par-72 eighteen on a property of roughly 160 acres that also includes a driving range, a two-tiered putting green, a restaurant and a banquet hall. The course is home to the Lewis Mills High School team, hosts the annual CIAC and Berkshire League championships, and has staged USGA amateur qualifiers, PGA pro-ams and junior tour events. Its junior programs, run with the Goshen and Harwinton recreation departments, include camps, clinics and jobs for young golfers. In 2019 the Connecticut Section PGA gave Fairview Farm its Walter Lowell public golf course award.
