Foothill Golf Course

Foothill Golf Course, a nine-hole par-3 layout on Verner Avenue, opened in 1961 and is credited to Paul Ottaviano, Sr. The property is owned by the public Sunrise Recreation and Park District. In 2019 PGA Tour player Cameron Champ's family took over management, and the course is home base for the Cameron Champ Foundation. Champ learned the game there as a junior, playing with his grandfather Mack, and the foundation runs an after-school mentorship program on site.
