About Fort Jackson Golf Club - Old Hickory

Fort Jackson Golf Club opened in 1949 with an 18-hole course by George Cobb. In 1991 Arthur L. Davis added 20 new holes to 16 of the original holes, creating the 36-hole layout that includes Old Hickory. Old Hickory hosted the 1998 All Army Golf Trials Camp. Army MWR runs the club, which logs more than 50,000 rounds a year.
