Frog Hollow opened in August 2000 in Middletown, just down the road from Back Creek Golf Club. Developer Allen Liddicoat, who had built Back Creek without prior golf-architecture experience, laid it out as a modest-cost step up from Back Creek. It is a links-style par 71 with more than 50 bunkers, ponds on six holes and tall native grasses throughout, and the course is surrounded by a housing community.
