About Bayside Resort Golf Club

Bayside Resort Golf Club opened in 2005 as the first Jack Nicklaus Signature course in Delaware. It is the centerpiece of an 867-acre resort community in Selbyville, near the Maryland line, developed by Joshua Freeman, who also built Bear Trap Dunes a few miles up the road. Nicklaus Design describes it as a waterfront links-style layout moving through salt marshes, meadows and woodlands. The par 72 stretches past 7,500 yards from the back tees. Golfweek ranked it the best course you can play in Delaware in 2026.
