Plantation Lakes is an Arthur Hills design at the heart of the Plantation Lakes community in Millsboro, his second Sussex County course after Heritage Shores in Bridgeville. Construction stopped during the recession after six holes were built; three more were finished by 2015, and the first nine opened to residents and the public in June 2016. As homes sold, the developers built the remaining holes, and the full 18 was in play by 2021. Its par 3s include the water-ringed 4th, the longest and toughest on the course, the 11th across Betts Pond to an elevated green, and the 15th with a Reverse Redan green; the par-4 16th has a Biarritz green. Golfweek named it the No. 1 course you can play in Delaware four years running, 2022 through 2025, and ranked it second in 2026. ICON Management runs the club.
