About Golf Club At Wescott Plantation, The

The 27-hole Golf Club at Wescott Plantation opened in November 2000, designed by Dr. Michael Hurdzan with a traditional look of low earthworks and classic bunkering. Built by First Golf, it is owned by the City of North Charleston and operated as a daily-fee course logging roughly 40,000-45,000 rounds a year. Its three nines -- Oak Forest, Burn Kill and Black Robin -- take their names from the site's history, and it serves as a home course for Charleston Southern University golf.
