Formerly Renaissance Park Golf Course, this Mecklenburg County municipal course opened in 1987 — a Michael Hurdzan design built on a closed landfill. In 2017 it was renamed to honor Harry L. Jones Sr., the county's first African American County Manager. It plays as a par-72 public course on West Tyvola Road.
