About Haven Golf Course

Haven is widely described as Green Valley's first golf course, built in the mid-1960s (listings range from 1963 to 1967) in the early days of the retirement community south of Tucson. Architect Arthur Jack Snyder routed the parkland-style 18 along the Santa Cruz River, with water features and mature pine, eucalyptus and palm trees. It runs today as Haven Public Golf Club, paired with the nine-hole par-3 Tortuga course.
