Cave Creek is a City of Phoenix municipal course notable for being built on a reclaimed landfill, a project that began around 1983 with the course opening in 1984. Designed by Jack Snyder, it measures about 6,723 yards from the back tees and is frequently cited as one of Phoenix's most popular municipal courses.
